We are pleased to announce that an independent Advisory Board has been formed to guide the strategic development of the Palestinian Sentinel Surveillance Platform and Network. The board consists of national and international professionals in public health, environmental health, epidemiology, and surveillance systems. Its goal is to provide scientific and technical assistance, monitor progress, and promote compliance with worldwide best practices. The Advisory Board will assist in promoting collaborations, maintaining quality standards, and improving the sustainability of the sentinel surveillance network.
Dr. Aziza Menouni presented the PSNP project on December 17th, 2025, at the VLIR-UOS meeting in Brussels, which was organized by Dr. Mrs. Laura Uwase, Global Networks Manager at VLIR-UOS. The purpose of this conference was twofold.

The project comes in response to the severe weakening of the capacities of academic and health institutions following the conflict in Palestine, limiting resources for data collection, evidence-based interventions, and personnel training.
