Consortium Meetings

Regular consortium meetings are held to ensure the successful coordination and progress of the Palestinian Sentinel Surveillance Platform and Network. These sessions allow partners to discuss implementation milestones, share technical updates, and coordinate methodological approaches across study locations. So far,

the PSNP team has held seven online meetings, focusing on data collection methods, focus group structure, data processing and analysis, capacity-building activity planning, governance, and dissemination strategies. The consortium meetings also help to solve problems and increase collaboration among the academic institutions (AQU and KULeuven) and field teams involved in the project.

The project comes in response to the severe weakening of the capacities of academic and health institutions following the conflict in Palestine, limiting resources for data collection, evidence-based interventions, and personnel training.
